Fun with Excel
I think Microsoft Excel is one of the best software platforms ever made. Putting aside dated ethical qualms about Bill Gate’s ruthless use of anti-competitive tactics against the Lotus Group, Excel today is one of the most powerful and most used pieces of software in the world.
I would describe myself as an Excel power user, and have done a lot of things with it outside of its usual mandate. Excelsior (my attempt to create a text-based RPG) is the most notable, but there are a few other tools as well.
